Jim, Joe and Bill Singleton started Able Moving in 1987 with one truck and a small ad in the Yellow Pages. A second truck was added in early ?88, and a third by the end of that year. In 1990 we rented our first warehouse in Manassas, Va. It was a small 6,500 square foot warehouse with just enough office space for the three of us. 1997 -- We purchased 13 acres off route 66 in Manassas, and started planning a new home for our business. 1998 -- Construction started on our new facility. By 1999, we had moved in and finally had enough room. 2001 ? Our father Bill retired. 2004 -- Construction began on an additional warehouse as well as 2 additional acres for parking. Today ? Able Moving has grown! Our fleet is 50 trucks strong, and we have all the systems in place for your relocation needs.
