Packing Day: Each carton should be labeled with the room name and a brief description of the contents of each carton, this facilitates placement of the boxes at your new residence. We will avoid, as much as possible, mixing items from various rooms in the same carton. Packing may be scheduled over more than one day. Regardless of how many days have been scheduled for the packing we can wait to pack bedding, mattresses, and those items deemed essential until the day of loading. This will allow you and your family to continue sleeping in the home until loading day. Before you release the packing crew on the final day of packing, check the home with a member of the crew to make absolutely certain everything is packed. You may know of an area such as a closet that might have been overlooked. For this reason it is important that you or your representative be present during and more importantly at the completion of the packing process. Loading Day: Ask and understand where the hardware will be placed for items that are disassembled (bed frames, dresser mirrors, entertainment centers, tables, ect). The delivery crew will be responsible for reassembly but will need to know where the hardware for these items is located.
