Normal office hours for Air Denver are 7 AM to 5:30 PM mountain time, Monday thru Friday. However, we are available 24/7/365, including holidays, for immediate air charters and for upcoming air charters within 48 hours. After Hour Requests Air Denver is available 24/7 for immediate air charters and for air charters that will take place within 48 hours. We can usually find you an aircraft within 20 minutes and have you airborne within a hour from the time you say ?go?. Note: After 9/11 and the dot.com crash, our nations air charter fleet was reduced. This reduction has led to the available aircraft to having full schedules. Finding a passenger aircraft for late night operations is more difficult as the pilots typically fly during the day. However, with Air Denver having every air charter operator available to us, we can always find you an aircraft, even if we have to go thru 20 to 30 operators. Have you ever wanted your own aircraft? Where you could pick up the phone and be airborne within the hour? And have it available 24/7? Instead of one aircraft, how about a fleet? One with every make and model, and the perfect one for the mission at hand? And to have it whenever and wherever you desire. Buying an aircraft is expensive but is the easiest part compared with its operating costs. An aircraft requires a crew, crew training, maintenance, insurance, hangars and parking fees. And these are only some of the additional costs associated with owning an aircraft. Fractional companies make owning an aircraft easier by splitting the costs of owning an entire aircraft between several owners. Originally they advertised that you could have your aircraft in about 8 hours from your call. Today, however, they ask for up to 3 days notice. And if you want your aircraft sooner, it can cost you an extra 40 to 50 percent! Still they require a large up front cost for purchasing a portion of the aircraft, plus high monthly management fees, and you still have a trip charge which equals or is higher than a regular charter through Air Denver.

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE: Every part and component on an aircraft is given a time life by the FAA. First the FAA determines how long a part or component will last and, for commercial operators, these times are usually cut in half. When the FAAs time limits are reached, the part or component must be replaced, even though they still have half of their service life left. There are no exceptions!
Time limits are in both actual hours of usage and calendar life. As an example, most propellers have a five year calendar life as well as an hourly limit. If a charter operator has a brand new aircraft which is not flown, the propeller still must be overhauled at the five year limit, even if it was never used. By contrast, a private jet aircraft, not in commercial service, needs to only have a part or component replaced when they fail.
