Fully equipped and out the door (no sales taxes then) the total truck cost was $3,240.00. Our new tractor/trailer units hold over 4,000 cubic feet, have a weight capacity of 40,000 pounds and are powered to maintain normal interstate highway speeds. With radial tires and "Air-Ride" springs, our cargo gets as smooth a ride as a limo passenger. Today's prices for a fully equipped tractor/trailer top $135,000.00 in addition we pay over $3,240.00 per year per tractor/trailer in truck taxes.
